A benefit for someone in need...

Last Saturday, myself along with a couple of friends went to see our friend and colleague Vince. Right now, he's in the battle for his life as he was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, so rare that there are less than 20 cases like his throughout the world, yet only one case in the United States, which happens to be him. So far, he's been going through some aggressive chemotherapy in New York and like a fighter, he's being upbeat and positive about it.

Our radio station, 102.3 WSUS-FM in Franklin, NJ has organized a benefit for Vince and his family. I hope you will join my colleagues, friends and myself on Saturday June 2, 2007 from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a special brunch fundraiser for Vince and his family. It will be held at LiBerti's Restaurant on Route 23 in Wantage, NJ and more details can be found on the 102.3 WSUS website. All money raised will help Vince and his family with expenses incurred fighting this extremely rare cancer.
